Admire Rare Plants and Orchids in One of Japan's Largest Greenhouses; Safe Even in Bad Weather

About this spot

One of Japan's largest greenhouses located at one corner of Awaji Dream Butai, formerly known as "Kiseki no Hoshi Plant Museum" (Miracle Star Botanical Museum), it was renovated as "Awaji Green Hall" in 2021. Inside this massive glass space, tropical plants, rare succulents, and colorful orchids are displayed three-dimensionally, and as you walk through the hall, it feels like exploring a forest of plants. Seasonal special exhibitions transform the entire hall into a floral art space, offering fresh surprises no matter how many times you visit. It's an all-weather facility, making it an excellent refuge on rainy or hot days. High school students and younger get free admission, making it easy for families to visit without hesitation.

Tips

Located on the Awaji Dream Butai grounds, just a short walk from the Hyakudan Garden. The interior features well-maintained ramps that make it easy to view with a stroller. During special exhibition periods, admission fees may change, so check the official website in advance. As an indoor facility, it serves as a reliable backup plan if weather forces schedule changes.

Best time to visit

About 1.5 hours. Being indoors, it's perfect regardless of weather or time of day, and ideal as the afternoon finale of your flower tour.
