An agricultural park run by Takashima City, located midway along the Metasequoia Avenue, popular with families for its seasonal fruit-picking experiences. Starting with cherries in early summer, followed by blueberries in summer, grapes from summer into autumn, and chestnut and sweet potato digging in autumn, you can enjoy a harvest experience in season depending on when you visit. Fruit you've picked yourself tastes exceptional, and the ease of participation makes it appealing even for small children. The Center House has a restaurant using local ingredients and a direct-sales stand for farm produce, perfect for a lunch break while looking out at the avenue. The gelato shop on the grounds is also popular, recommended for dessert after your meal. Admission itself is free, so it's easy to stop by along with a walk down the avenue.

Located on the same grounds as the Metasequoia Avenue, sharing the free parking lot. Since fruit picking availability changes depending on weather and growing conditions, it's reassuring to check the day's status in advance on the official website or by phone. Popular harvest experiences such as cherry picking may require reservations. The grounds are flat and easy to get around with a stroller.

Best time to visit

About 2.5 hours. Mornings are the best time for fruit picking, when the fruit is juiciest, followed by an early lunch at the Center House.
