Beginning with cherries in early summer, the park features blueberries in summer, grapes from summer through autumn, and chestnut gathering and sweet potato digging in fall—visitors can enjoy harvest experiences featuring whatever is in season. The delicious taste of fruits picked by your own hands is incomparable, and the experience is simple enough for even small children to enjoy. The Center House features a restaurant using local ingredients and a farm produce shop, perfect for a lunch break overlooking the tree-lined avenue. The gelato shop on the premises is also well-regarded and recommended as a post-meal dessert. Admission to the grounds is free, making it easy to drop by along with your tree-lined avenue stroll.
