Through models and original artifacts, you can truly appreciate how the once-vital transportation artery supported people's livelihoods. Exhibits of fossils and specimens of flora and fauna are enjoyable for children's eyes, and they connect beautifully with what you've just seen—the riverbanks at Tenshow-chi and the farmhouses at the folklore village. Tips
Just a short walk from Michinoku Folklore Village. Closed Mondays (with possible changes for holidays), so check opening days in advance.
