Grass play and snack time at the park spreading below Kaminoyama Castle

About this spot

A beloved park for the citizens, spreading at the foot of Kaminoyama Castle. Known as a cherry blossom viewing spot in spring, the flowering display with the white castle keep as backdrop is one of the signature landscapes of Kaminoyama. The park features plazas and walking paths, offering a spacious, carefree area where children can run freely. It's a perfect spot for a brief rest after visiting the museum, and having a snack under the shade of trees is highly recommended. Relaxing with a view of the castle keep above, the whole family can feel the unhurried pace of time characteristic of a castle town. The varied terrain invites exploration, and children will be delighted just wandering over the slopes and stone steps. You can also enjoy the seasonal colors of flowers and trees.
