A prefectural road runs along the ridge at approximately 1,400m elevation, continuing as the exhilarating traverse route called the "Sky Road." White limestone rocks scatter throughout the grassland where cattle peacefully graze in a distinctly karst landscape. From the viewpoint, mountains on the Kochi Prefecture side layer upon one another, and on days with clear air, you may even glimpse the gleaming Pacific Ocean in the distance. As evening approaches, light angling from the side bathes the rolling grassland in gold—an especially precious time. A memorable drive along car windows awaits, one worthy of closing your perfect day.
