A shaded walking trail runs along the beach, and as you walk in the clear morning air, the pleasant sound of pebbles rolling at the water's edge echoes soothingly. The waters of Sunokawa are renowned for their exceptional transparency as a coral bed, making it so popular as a snorkeling spot in summer that it gets quite crowded. With an adjacent campground and grassy plaza, this is the perfect place to relax while enjoying the seascape.
Tips
Easy to access along National Route 56 with free parking available. While the walking trail is flat and easy to walk, wearing non-slip shoes is recommended if you venture down to the pebbled beach. The morning attracts few visitors, allowing you to enjoy the sound of the waves at your leisure.

Approximately 1 hour. The time when morning light hits the sea makes the transparency especially striking, and the walk is most enjoyable then.
