The symbolic centerpiece is the castle-shaped main building, "Ai-Ai Children's Hall" (あいあい児童館). Inside are creative activity corners, pretend play areas, and a restaurant; outdoors, there's a bobsled ride down the hillside, a road train touring the grounds, and other vehicle-based activities. Free admission covers a wide range of entertainment—from vigorous outdoor play to indoor activities perfect for rainy days. An invaluable companion for families with children, ideally suited as a lunch and play base after the zoo's extensive walking.
Tips
Located in the same "Tobe Mori" area as the zoo with quick car access. Admission is free; tickets for paid attractions like the bobsled are purchased on-site. Besides the main building's restaurant, the grass plaza offers a pleasant spot for packed lunches.
