A free foot bath rest facility built on a high point overlooking Hakusan Sea Cave. Beyond the large glass windows lies a panoramic view of the Pacific Ocean and Hakusan Sea Cave. Soak your tired, warm feet while watching waves crash against the cave from this premium seating—a signature stop on the Ashizurimisaki Cape circuit. The facility is named after John Manjiro (Nakahama Manjiro), a great figure from Tosashimizu. The view of Hakusan Sea Cave from this vantage point is said to resemble a heart shape, and with both spectacular views and relaxation available, it draws many tourists as a popular rest stop to finish their tour.
Tips
Use is free, but bring your own towel. Parking available very close to the facility. The view of the sea cave from the window varies by seating, so if available, the front-facing seat is recommended. When crowded, please share and take turns.
Best time to visit
Approximately 40 minutes. Visit right after exploring Hakusan Sea Cave for maximum relief from walking fatigue.
