Grand Panoramic Observation Deck at 82 Meters Reached by Autonomous Cart
About this spot
An observation tower standing at 82 meters elevation on a highland of Kouri Island. From the entrance, board an autonomous cart and slowly ascend through gardens adorned with tropical flowers. The tower's top floor houses a Shell Museum featuring shells from around the world, and both the indoor observation floor and outdoor rooftop deck offer sweeping views of the Kouri Great Bridge stretching across the cobalt blue sea. The exhilaration of viewing the very route you just drove from this vantage point is incomparable. The facility also features shops and cafés where you can leisurely enjoy island time while surrounded by spectacular views.
Tips
The rooftop observation deck can be windy, so secure your hat. The cart operates autonomously, so there is no need to worry about driving. Take your time photographing the gardens as you ascend to enjoy the journey to the summit.
Best time to visit
Approximately 1 hour 15 minutes required. Early afternoon provides optimal lighting, making the bridge and sea blue stand out brilliantly.
