Spend the Afternoon Freely Enjoying Seasonal Flower Fields and the Godzilla Slide

About this spot

A large free-admission park where poppies blanket the hillside in spring and cosmos in autumn. The adventure land within the park features Yokosuka's distinctive giant Godzilla slide, which is hugely popular with children. With an herb garden and foot bath also available, it's perfect for "play preparation" before the fireworks. From the hilltop, you can overlook Kurihama Harbor and get an early glimpse of the sea where tonight's fireworks will light up.

2026年7月11日(土)、ペリー祭のフィナーレを飾る約7,000発の花火大会です。海上の台船から打ち上がる花火は視界を遮るものがなく、湾全体に音が響く迫力満点のロケーション。速射連発(スターマイン)が夜空と海面を同時に染める瞬間は、開国の町・久里浜の夏のハイライトです。昼にめぐった歴史の舞台が、光の祭典で締めくくられます。

Tips

荒天時の開催可否は横須賀市・ペリー祭の公式発表で確認を。終了直後は京急久里浜駅・JR久里浜駅が大混雑するため、浜で余韻を楽しんでからの時間差帰宅がおすすめです。

Tips

About 15 minutes on foot from Keikyu Kurihama Station. The park has uneven terrain, so wear comfortable walking shoes. In summer, some areas have little shade, so don't forget a hat and water. Using the Flower Train (fee-based) makes getting around the park easier.
