The area around Honatsugui Station on the Odakyu Line is the heart of Atsugui, packed with restaurants. Starting with the signature shiro-koro hormon (grilled offal), the depth of B-class gourmet offerings is among the best in the prefecture. On the festival day itself, the entire town has a festive atmosphere with food stalls lining the streets. Enjoy a late lunch and stock up on drinks and light snacks for the riverbed. The river venue is about a 15-minute walk away.

Tips

On the evening of the fireworks event, the station and convenience stores are extremely crowded. Complete your shopping by 4 p.m. Popular hormon restaurants are best visited early for peace of mind.
