About this spot

A roadside station (道の駅) in Nabari City where you can find fresh vegetables and fruits shipped by local farmers, as well as specialty products from Iga (伊賀) and Nabari. As a short break upon returning from Akame Forty-Eight Waterfalls in the early evening, you can rest and shop at leisure in the cool facility. Gathering local juice and light snacks is a good way to recharge energy before the fireworks. In the souvenir corner, you can find products unique to Nabari, making this a good time to purchase gifts in bulk so you won't be burdened with extra luggage after the fireworks.

名張川の河川敷から打ち上げられる約4,000発の花火が、名張の夏の夜空をダイナミックに彩ります。川沿いの開けた空間は視界が広く、大輪の花火を正面からのびのびと見上げられます。川面に映り込む花火の光が揺れる様子も、川辺ならではの美しい眺めです。山あいの盆地に位置する名張では、花火の音が周囲に響いて体に伝わり、迫力が増して感じられます。地元の人々と一緒ににぎわう河川敷で、1日の締めくくりにふさわしい夏の夜を楽しみましょう。

Tips

開催時間は当日発表の情報で必ず確認してください(時間未定のため)。荒天時の開催可否は名張市または大会主催者の公式情報で確認を。終了後は近鉄名張駅方面への道が大変混み合うため、フィナーレ後は河川敷で少し余韻を楽しんでから時間差で移動するのがおすすめです。帰り道の足元が暗い場所もあるため、スマートフォンのライト機能を活用しましょう。

Tips

About 5 minutes by car from Kintetsu Nabari Station; access by taxi or route bus is convenient. On fireworks festival day, parking areas around the Nabari River riverside become crowded from evening onward, so confirm your transportation plans at this point. Closing times vary by facility, so check the official website.
