About this spot

This park runs along the Ureshino River, on the opposite bank from Siebold no Yu, the symbol of Ureshino Onsen. It's a compact, elongated park laid out along the river that you can walk from end to end in no time. Inside, there are tables with power outlets and free Wi-Fi, plus a stage used for events. In spring the cherry blossoms bloom in full, and the park makes a perfect rest stop for a relaxed break while listening to the river's murmur during a stroll through the onsen town.

Tips

It's an easy walk along the river from Siebold no Yu (シーボルトの湯). If you plan to play in the water, bring a change of clothes and a towel. Some areas have little shade, so don't forget a hat and sunscreen. Since you may pass through again before the evening fireworks, it's reassuring to check the restroom locations during the day.

About 1 hour 15 minutes. The shaded riverside path with a river breeze stays relatively cool even on a summer afternoon
