The comfortable location allows you to stroll while enjoying panoramic views of Hakodate Port from the stone-paved plaza, and it's perfect for experiencing the evening harbor atmosphere while feeling the sea breeze. The shops within the warehouses offer Hakodate-style seafood souvenirs and local sweets, and it's recommended to make purchases here during this time. The Green Island, which will be tonight's fireworks venue, is also nearby, making this the perfect area to build anticipation for the event.

Tips

About a 5-minute walk from the Hakodate Tram "Juji-gai" stop. You can enter the shops within the facility for free, but plan to spend 500 yen or more on dining and shopping. On the day of the fireworks festival, the Bay Area becomes crowded from evening onward, so explore and purchase souvenirs during this timeframe.
