A hands-on science museum located on the 5th-8th floors of the multipurpose building "Kiboul" in Chuo Ward, Chiba City. The top floor houses a large 23-meter diameter dome planetarium with exquisitely detailed starry sky imagery—perfect as a prelude to tonight's fireworks in Makuhari's summer night. 2026年8月1日(土)19時30分から20時30分まで開催の幕張ビーチ花火フェスタは、千葉市・幕張海浜公園の沖合から約24,000発が打ち上がる大規模な花火大会です。東京湾の広い水平線を舞台に大輪の花火が次々と開く様子は圧倒的なスケールで、海面に映る光の帯が揺れる光景も見どころのひとつです。海浜公園の芝生からは遮るものなく夜空を見渡すことができ、打ち上げ音が体に響く迫力とともに、潮風の中で花火を楽しめます。約60分間のプログラムが終わり、最後のフィナーレが夜空いっぱいに広がる瞬間は、幕張の夏の1日のクライマックスにふさわしい光景です。
Tips
荒天時の開催可否は大会公式の発表で確認してください。終了直後はJR海浜幕張駅へ向かう人で周辺道路と駅構内が大変混雑します。フィナーレ後は公園内で少し余韻を楽しんでから時間差で退場し、混雑のピークをやり過ごすのがおすすめです。足元が暗くなるためスマートフォンのライトを活用し、小さな子どものそばを離れないよう注意しましょう。

About 5 minutes walk from JR Chiba Station, or accessible by bus from Kaihama-Makuhari Station. Admission to the permanent exhibits is around 500 yen for adults; children and junior high students or younger are free or receive discounts (check in advance). Allow 30-40 minutes of travel time to the fireworks venue by car or train for a comfortable margin.
