About this spot
A representative park of Ichikawa City located on the high ground of Kofu-dai, with rolling lawn areas, rose gardens, and rose gardens maintained throughout the grounds. From the observation spot overlooking the Edo River, you can confirm the riverside scenery where tonight's fireworks will rise during the daytime. The abundant greenery of trees and plenty of shade make it relatively cool even in midsummer. Many families enjoy picnicking here, making it the perfect place to start a leisurely afternoon. The park also has a play equipment area, enjoyable even for small children.

2026年8月1日(土)19時15分から20時20分まで、江戸川河川敷の大洲3丁目地先で開催される市川市民納涼花火大会です。約14,000発という圧倒的な打上数が自慢で、夜空を埋め尽くすスターマインや大玉が次々と炸裂します。幅広い江戸川の川幅をスクリーンに、対岸の東京側からも観覧者が集まる大規模な花火大会。川を渡る夜風の中で楽しむ花火は、夏の市川の風物詩として地域に根付いています。1時間5分のプログラムは盛りだくさんで、フィナーレの連発は空全体が光に包まれる圧巻のスペクタクルです。
Tips
荒天時の開催可否は市川市の公式発表で確認を。終了直後は最寄り駅や路線バスが大混雑するため、フィナーレ後は河川敷でしばらく余韻を楽しんでから帰宅すると混雑を緩和できます。帰り道の河川敷は暗いので足元に注意し、小さなライトがあると安心。JR市川駅・本八幡駅のほか、京成市川真間駅への分散帰宅もおすすめです。

About 7 minutes walk from Keisei Ichikawa Mama Station (京成市川真間駅), or accessible by bus from JR Ichikawa Station. Free admission. Parking available (paid). The rose garden peaks in spring and autumn, but summer greenery is also worth viewing. Multiple restrooms available; use the fireworks day as an opportunity to scout and confirm the scenic views toward the Edo River.
Best time to visit
Approximately 1 hour 30 minutes required. Late morning through early afternoon offers comfortable shade and cooler conditions.
