Cool Off, Eat Dinner, and Secure Your Spot on the White Sand Beach Before the Fireworks
About this spot
A beach known for its whiteness and fine sand, stretching approximately 620 meters, representing Nanki Shirahama. It is the launch site for the Fireworks Festival and your viewing spot for tonight. In the summer evening, Shirahama Beach is perfect for cooling off as the harsh sunlight eases and the sea breeze becomes pleasant. Enjoy dinner procured from beach houses and nearby vendors and food stalls while slowly savoring the changing colors of the sky and sea as the sun sets. Before 8:10 PM when the fireworks begin and crowds increase, securing an easy-to-view spot is the smart way to spend your time.

Tips
Tips
Just off Shirahama Beach Bus Stop. On the day of the fireworks festival, spectators increase from evening onward, so arriving by 5 PM is recommended to secure a good spot. Purchase food and beverages early (vendors and vending machines become crowded from evening). Public restrooms are available along the beach, but they become congested, so use them early. Be sure to take all trash with you.
Best time to visit
Approximately 2 hours 30 minutes required. The white sandy beach and ocean view bathed in the sunset are especially beautiful at this time of day.
