Located about a 10-minute walk from the south exit of Kumagaya Station, this is a municipal park that spreads along the Hoshikawa River. With a spacious lawn and shade provided by trees, it's a precious spot to catch your breath in Kumagaya where the summer sun is intense. 熊谷花火大会は、荒川大橋下流の河畔から打ち上げられる埼玉県北部を代表する夏の花火大会です。広大な荒川の河川敷を会場に、夜空いっぱいに広がる大輪の花火が次々と開きます。障害物の少ない開けた河川敷からは花火が正面に大きく見え、音の迫力も格別。川面を渡る夜風の中、家族みんなで見上げる花火は夏の最高の思い出になります。フィナーレに向けて連続して打ち上がる花火が夜空を埋め尽くす瞬間は、この1日のクライマックスです。
