なにわ淀川花火大会は、新御堂筋淀川鉄橋から国道2号線の間の淀川河川敷を会場に開催される、大阪を代表する花火大会のひとつです。大阪の夜空を大輪の花火が次々と彩り、川面に映る光の揺らめきが会場全体を包みます。河川敷という開けた立地ゆえ、遮るものなく正面から花火を見上げられるのが大きな魅力。秋の澄んだ夜空のもとで見る花火は、夏の大会とはまた異なる趣があります。打ち上げ音が体に響く迫力と、淀川の夜風の心地よさが合わさった1時間は、この1日のクライマックスです。
Tips
開催は19:00〜20:00。荒天時は中止または延期となるため、当日の開催可否は大会公式の発表で事前に確認を。終了後は十三駅・新大阪駅方面へ大勢の人が移動するため、駅や道路が非常に混雑します。フィナーレ後は河川敷でしばらく余韻を楽しんでから、時間をずらして帰路につくとスムーズです。足元が暗い場所もあるため、ライトを用意しておくと安心です。

From Hankyu Umeda Station (阪急梅田駅), take the Hankyu Kobe Line (阪急神戸線) or Takarazuka Line (宝塚線) to Juso Station (十三駅) for convenient access to the Yodogawa riverbed viewing area (about a 15-minute walk). On the festival day, the Juso area also gets crowded, so plan meals and transfers with a comfortable schedule in mind. Dining and shops near the venue will be extremely busy, so finishing your meal in Umeda is wise.
