Hankyu Juso Station (阪急十三駅) serves as a key access point to the Naniwa Yodogawa Fireworks Festival viewing area, used by many attendees. From the station, the riverbed viewing area is approximately a 15-minute walk away. In the early evening, the sky above the riverbed shifts in color from orange to indigo, with the river's surface reflections transforming moment by moment. Once you spread out your leisure sheet and secure your spot, enjoy your brought-along beverages and snacks while leisurely waiting for the show to begin. Since the October riverbed can get chilly as evening sets in, layering up with extra clothing at this time is key.

なにわ淀川花火大会は、新御堂筋淀川鉄橋から国道2号線の間の淀川河川敷を会場に開催される、大阪を代表する花火大会のひとつです。大阪の夜空を大輪の花火が次々と彩り、川面に映る光の揺らめきが会場全体を包みます。河川敷という開けた立地ゆえ、遮るものなく正面から花火を見上げられるのが大きな魅力。秋の澄んだ夜空のもとで見る花火は、夏の大会とはまた異なる趣があります。打ち上げ音が体に響く迫力と、淀川の夜風の心地よさが合わさった1時間は、この1日のクライマックスです。
Tips
開催は19:00〜20:00。荒天時は中止または延期となるため、当日の開催可否は大会公式の発表で事前に確認を。終了後は十三駅・新大阪駅方面へ大勢の人が移動するため、駅や道路が非常に混雑します。フィナーレ後は河川敷でしばらく余韻を楽しんでから、時間をずらして帰路につくとスムーズです。足元が暗い場所もあるため、ライトを用意しておくと安心です。

About 5 minutes by Hankyu Kobe Line (阪急神戸線) or Takarazuka Line (宝塚線) from Hankyu Umeda Station (阪急梅田駅) to Juso Station (十三駅). On festival day evening and beyond, Juso Station becomes quite crowded; early arrival is recommended. The viewing area's visibility varies by location, so arrive early to secure your preferred spot. Restrooms become crowded, so using them early is strongly advised.
Best time to visit
Approximately 1 hour 15 minutes required. Around sunset, the riverbed offers beautiful twilight colors and pleasant river breezes—a special time before the fireworks.
