In the town of Uda Matsuyama, which prospered during the Edo period as a distribution center for medicinal herbs, merchant houses with latticed doors and white plaster walls line the streets in a landscape carefully preserved to this day. Various facilities connected to herbal medicine culture are scattered throughout, and simply walking here conveys the history of Uda. The relaxed atmosphere with not an excessive number of tourists makes it a pleasant experience for families.
