Feel the Air of History at a Shrine Connected to Hyuga Mythology
About this spot
A shrine located in the Nango district of Misato Town, deeply rooted in the community as a sacred place connected to Hyuga Mythology. The sanctuary, surrounded by abundant woodlands, remains cool even in summer, and simply walking the quiet approach creates a sense of separation from daily life's bustle. Learning about the history and culture of this land at Lover's Hill, which is deeply connected to the Mita Matsuri that the village is named after, will deepen your appreciation of tonight's festival. The green trees in the sanctuary are beautiful in the summer light and offer a good spot for a memorable photo.
