The riverbank downstream from Arisawa Bridge is the main viewing area for tonight's fireworks festival. As people begin laying out their viewing sheets on the wide riverbank early on, it's wise to secure your spot before the sun sets. Food stalls line the venue area, offering classic summer festival fare such as yakisoba (grilled noodles), karaage (fried chicken), and light snacks made with local ingredients. Enjoy a leisurely dinner by the river while enjoying the evening breeze, and prepare for the fireworks to begin at 7:40 PM. The changing colors of the river surface at dusk are also part of the pre-show enjoyment.

北日本新聞納涼花火大会の富山会場は、神通川有沢橋下流の河川敷から打ち上がる夏の大会です。広い川幅の真上に開く花火は、遮るものなく大きく見え、爆音が川沿いに響く迫力が河川敷観覧の醍醐味です。川面に映る花火の光が揺れる様子は、神通川ならではの美しい光景。涼しくなってきた夜の川風を感じながら、19時40分から20時25分まで夜空を彩る花火を家族でゆっくり楽しみましょう。夏の富山の夜を飾るにふさわしい、特別な45分間です。
Tips
荒天時の開催可否は北日本新聞または大会公式の発表で当日確認を。終了後は観覧客が一斉に動くため、帰りのバスや駐車場が大変混み合います。フィナーレ後は少し河川敷でゆっくりしてから移動する時間差帰宅がおすすめ。足元が暗い場所があるため小さなライトがあると安心です。

Approximately 10 minutes by car from central Toyama, or by bus toward the Jinzū River. On the day of the event, parking lots near the venue fill up quickly, so public transportation is recommended.
