Located close to the white-walled townscape, it's ideal for relaxing in the shade during the hot afternoon hours. While preserving energy for tonight's fireworks, you can check out the surrounding area. On the festival day, the harbor area becomes crowded from evening onward, so thoroughly recharging and hydrating during this time will give you peace of mind. From the park, you can walk toward the harbor area as evening approaches.

柳井金魚ちょうちん祭りのフィナーレを飾る、柳井港周辺からの花火大会です。夜空に約4,000発が次々と打ち上がり、港の水面に映る光の帯とともに夏の夜を彩ります。金魚ちょうちんの赤い灯りがゆれる祭りの夜に咲く花火は、柳井ならではの独特の美しさがあります。海沿いの開けた場所から見る花火は視界が広く、音の迫力も十分。家族みんなで潮風に吹かれながら見上げる約1時間は、夏の記憶として刻まれる時間になるはずです。フィナーレの連発が夜空と水面を同時に照らす瞬間が、このコースの最大のクライマックスです。

Within walking distance from JR Yanai Station (柳井駅). Vending machines and convenience stores are nearby, so stock up on drinks here. On sunny days, rest in the shade. Keep your belongings light to stay mobile for the evening's move.
Best time to visit
Approximately 1 hour 30 minutes required. The afternoon shade is cool and provides a good recharge time before the fireworks.
