The Fukkigawa riverbank downstream from Sankoku Bridge is the main viewing area for the Shinmei Fireworks Festival. The time spent spreading a leisure sheet on the embankment or riverbed waiting for the opening is a special moment unique to summer fireworks festivals. As the sun sets, the river surface transforms from orange to indigo, and the ridgelines of surrounding mountains become silhouetted against the evening sky, building anticipation for the fireworks. Food stalls line the area, so you can purchase additional drinks or light snacks here. The viewing area fills up about an hour before the opening, so secure your spot early.

2026年8月7日(金)19時15分から21時まで、三郡橋下流の笛吹川河畔で開催される神明の花火大会です。約20,000発という圧倒的な打上数を誇り、山梨県内最大規模、全国でも屈指の花火大会として知られています。笛吹川の川幅を活かしたワイドスターマインや、スターマインの連続打ちが夜空を埋め尽くし、大輪の花火が川面にも映り込む絶景は見る人を圧倒します。周囲を山に囲まれた盆地特有の地形が音を反響させ、体の芯まで伝わる重低音も神明の花火ならでは。約1時間45分にわたって繰り広げられる光と音の競演は、夏の山梨の夜のクライマックスです。
Tips
荒天時の開催可否は大会公式の発表で確認してください。終了後は観覧エリア周辺の道路が非常に混雑します。公共交通機関利用の場合はJR身延線の帰りの時刻を事前に調べ、終了直後の混雑を避けて時間差で移動するのがおすすめです。河畔は終演後に足元が暗くなるため、ライトを手元に準備しておきましょう。

On the fireworks festival day, roads around the venue become completely congested. If using public transportation, JR Shinden Line Ichikawa Daimon Station (市川大門駅) is nearest (approximately 20 minutes walk to venue). For personal vehicles, be sure to check the official announcement for parking and traffic restriction information in advance. Strongly recommended to use restrooms before the opening begins.
