毎年7月下旬に揖斐川河畔で開催される大垣花火大会は、岐阜県西部を代表する夏の風物詩です。川幅の広い揖斐川の河畔から見上げる花火は、頭上から広がるような大迫力で、水面に映る光の揺らぎが川辺ならではの幻想的な雰囲気を演出します。川を渡る夜風が心地よく、街中の花火大会とは一味違う涼やかさの中で観覧できます。フィナーレに向けて次々と打ち上がる花火の連発は、1日の締めくくりにふさわしい圧巻の光景です。水の都・大垣の夏の夜を、川辺の特等席で家族みんなで楽しんでください。

Tips

荒天時の開催可否は大垣市または大会主催者の公式発表で当日確認を。終了後はJR大垣駅方面へ向かう人が一斉に集中するため、フィナーレ後は少し河畔で余韻を楽しんでから移動する時間差帰宅がおすすめ。帰りの電車の時刻は事前に確認しておきましょう。足元が暗くなるのでスマートフォンのライトを活用してください。

Tips

The nearest access to the fireworks venue is about 15-20 minutes on foot from JR Ogaki Station. After late afternoon, crowds increase, so arriving at the venue and securing a spot by around 4 PM is recommended. Food stall items sell out quickly, so purchase early. Use the temporary toilet facilities around the venue early.
