About this spot

This general park spreads across the northern part of Toki City and is a family-friendly park with a spacious lawn plaza and a play equipment area. It's a valuable spot for kids to run around freely in the afternoon before the fireworks, and just relaxing in the shade of the trees offers welcome relief from the midsummer heat. The undulating terrain and abundant greenery create a sense of openness quite different from an urban park, making it ideal for spending the time before dusk while strolling around. Letting the kids burn off energy during this window, while there's still plenty of time before the fireworks, makes the evening's viewing much easier.

Tips

About a 7-minute drive from Michi-no-Eki Shino Oribe (道の駅 志野・織部). There is free parking. Plan to leave the park and start heading toward the fireworks venue around 5:00 PM. Stay well hydrated, and use the shade of the trees during the times when the sun is strongest as a precaution against heatstroke.

About 2 hours 15 minutes. The afternoon hours as it starts to cool down are the most comfortable
