This facility, adjacent to the Miyazawa Kenji Memorial Museum, serves as a more approachable gateway to experiencing Kenji's worldview. The video theater introduces Kenji's life and the world of his works through footage, in content that's easy for children to follow too. The museum shop also carries Kenji-related goods and Iwate crafts, so it's a good stop for souvenir shopping too. Visiting together with the memorial museum will considerably deepen your understanding of the Hanamaki and Iwate landscape that Kenji called Ihatov.
