About this spot

A roadside station in Hanamaki City, and a locally-sourced direct-sales shop offering fresh vegetables and fruit grown by local farmers along with processed foods made in Iwate Prefecture. The selection lets you feel the richness of agriculture in southern Hanamaki, and it's also handy for choosing souvenirs. As a stop on the way to the shore of Lake Tase (田瀬湖), it's the perfect place to pick up drinks, light snacks, and treats to have ready for the evening fireworks. Finishing your shopping in a time slot less crowded than the venue itself lets you enjoy the evening viewing more smoothly.

Tips

Near the Tōhoku Expressway's Hanamaki Minami Interchange, about 10 minutes by car from central Hanamaki. From here it's about 20–25 minutes by car to Lake Tase. It's reassuring to stock up on plenty of drinks here. Check the facility's official information in advance for business hours.
