A roadside station located in Misumi, Hamada City, next to Masuda City, popular for its observation deck overlooking the Sea of Japan from a high elevation. As the name suggests, it's also known as a sunset viewing spot, and the blue Sea of Japan spread across the horizon is a spectacular sight unique to San'in. In addition to shops selling local agricultural products and famous Iwami specialties, there's a dining area serving snacks and menus using local ingredients, perfect for pre-fireworks meals. The facility also has a large parking area, making it convenient for breaks during drives. It's about 15-20 minutes by car from the center of Masuda City along National Route 9.

Tips

About 15-20 minutes by car from the center of Masuda City. Plan your schedule to return to the center of Masuda City early in the evening on festival day. Using the facility's restroom beforehand ensures peace of mind while waiting at the riverbed. Considering post-fireworks congestion, aim to depart by 4 PM.
