An urban park of approximately 120,000 square meters surrounded by the Motonaga and Honkawa rivers, with many monuments scattered throughout including the Atomic Bomb Dome, the Cenotaph for A-Bomb Victims, and the Peace Flame. The riverside pedestrian paths are lush with greenery, and even in hot summers there are many shaded benches where you can cool off. When viewing the Atomic Bomb Dome from the riverside, the brick exterior walls and water surface overlap, creating a landscape symbolic of Hiroshima. Before moving to the evening venue, take time to walk through the park and visit the monuments.

広島港1万トンバース沖から打ち上がる約10,000発の大花火が、瀬戸内の夜空を1時間にわたって染め上げます。音楽と花火が連動する「花火ミュージアム」スタイルの演出が大会の大きな特徴で、曲のリズムに合わせて花火の色・形・リズムが変わっていく構成は、見ているだけでなく音でも楽しめる体験型の花火大会です。海面に映り込む光の帯と潮の香り、瀬戸内の夜風の中で打ち上がる約10,000発のスケール感は、港の街・広島ならではのクライマックスです。

荒天時の開催可否は大会公式発表で確認してください。観覧エリアへの入場に関する案内や交通規制情報は、広島市および大会公式サイトで事前に確認を。終了後は周辺道路と路面電車が大変混雑するため、フィナーレ後しばらく港で余韻を楽しんでから帰宅する時間差帰宅がおすすめです。広島電鉄「広島港」電停からのアクセスが基本となります。

Tips

"Genbaku Dome-mae" (原爆ドーム前) station is the nearest stop, same as the Peace Memorial Museum. Free admission. Summer daytime sun is intense, so bring a hat and replenish water frequently. The next move is by Hiroshima Electric Railway toward the Ujina area. From "Genbaku Dome-mae" station, take Line 5 (heading to Hiroshima Port) for about 20 minutes; the terminal "Hiroshima Port" (広島港) station is convenient.
