About this spot
A passenger terminal standing just in front of the terminal station of Hiroshima Electric Railway's line, where ferries to Miyajima (宮島) and Etajima (江田島) and other destinations depart and arrive—Hiroshima's gateway to the sea. From the plaza in front of the building, you can see the calm waters of the Seto Inland Sea and the islands across the way, experiencing the harbor atmosphere along with the scent of the tide. Inside the terminal building there are rest areas, and it's perfect for cooling off during hot hours while gazing at the sea. Confirming during daytime the direction offshore where tonight's fireworks will launch will make the evening viewing even more enjoyable.

広島港1万トンバース沖から打ち上がる約10,000発の大花火が、瀬戸内の夜空を1時間にわたって染め上げます。音楽と花火が連動する「花火ミュージアム」スタイルの演出が大会の大きな特徴で、曲のリズムに合わせて花火の色・形・リズムが変わっていく構成は、見ているだけでなく音でも楽しめる体験型の花火大会です。海面に映り込む光の帯と潮の香り、瀬戸内の夜風の中で打ち上がる約10,000発のスケール感は、港の街・広島ならではのクライマックスです。

荒天時の開催可否は大会公式発表で確認してください。観覧エリアへの入場に関する案内や交通規制情報は、広島市および大会公式サイトで事前に確認を。終了後は周辺道路と路面電車が大変混雑するため、フィナーレ後しばらく港で余韻を楽しんでから帰宅する時間差帰宅がおすすめです。広島電鉄「広島港」電停からのアクセスが基本となります。

About 1 minute walk from Hiroshima Electric Railway Line 5 "Hiroshima Port" (広島港) station. Facility use is free. There are vending machines and small shops nearby. Ujina Hatoba Park is about 5-10 minutes walk away. Anticipating evening venue congestion, it's smart to pick up drinks and light snacks during this time.
