About this spot

This is a shop-and-cafe facility located right next to Hiroshima Airport, inside Hattendo Village (八天堂ビレッジ) on Mount Yogura (用倉山). The fruit-themed sales area is lined with local fruit and processed goods as well as Hiroshima souvenirs such as Hattendo's cream buns, and the eat-in space lets you enjoy fruit parfaits and shakes. It is a good stop during the day on the day of the fireworks display; buying souvenirs at this time and leaving them in the car lightens your load for the rest of the day.

Tips

Just a short walk from JR Hongo Station (JR本郷駅). If driving, the parking lot starts to fill up in the afternoon, so come around midday while it's still early. On the day of the fireworks display, souvenir stock can sell out early, so don't hesitate to buy anything you like.
