A park developed on the hills of Hongo-cho, Mihara City, with walking paths set among the greenery. From the elevated area, you can see the paddy fields and landscapes of the Numata River basin in Hongo, and you can confirm during the day the direction where fireworks will be launched in the evening. With plenty of shade, it remains relatively cool even in the middle of a summer day—a delightful point for families. There's also a large play equipment area where children can run freely, beloved by local families. On the day of the fireworks display, be sure to get active during the cool daytime hours.

荒天時の開催可否は三原市または大会主催者の公式発表で当日必ず確認を。終了後は周辺道路と駐車場出口が混雑するため、車の方は花火終了後しばらく会場で余韻を楽しんでから移動するのがおすすめ。帰り道の河川敷は照明が少ないため、スマホのライトや小型ライトを使って足元に気をつけて。

Tips

A few minutes' drive from Michi no Eki Hongo. The walking path has some elevation changes, so wear comfortable shoes for walking. Bring drinking water from the roadside station or prepare it before departing for peace of mind. Before leaving, confirm your route for either heading to the next stop at Hongo Comprehensive Sports Park or proceeding directly along the Numata River.
