The Iyo Sai Matsuri Fireworks Festival is one of the region's largest fireworks displays, launched every summer from the Port of Iyo breakwater. About 10,000 fireworks bloom one after another in the night sky over Iyonada (伊予灘), overlapping with the light reflected on the water's surface to create a fantastical scene. Because the launch site faces the harbor, the field of view is wide and nothing blocks it, letting you enjoy the giant bursts head-on — a major appeal of this venue.
