The Mikawa Bay sunset transforms the colors of sky and sea moment by moment, and the time before the fireworks is already sufficiently beautiful. If you delay in securing your spot, good viewing locations will be taken, so it's safe to reserve your place by the 5:00 PM hour. Check the location of restrooms while it's still light.

蒲郡まつりのクライマックスを飾る納涼花火大会で、2026年7月26日(日)19時30分から21時00分まで開催されます。竹島ふ頭周辺から打ち上げられる約5,000発は、三河湾の広い海面を舞台に色とりどりの大輪が次々と開きます。穏やかな内湾ならではの静けさの中で、花火の音が海面に反響し、水面に映る光の揺らぎも見どころのひとつです。正面に竹島のシルエットを配した夜景の中で鑑賞できる、蒲郡ならではのロケーションが魅力。フィナーレに向けて連発が続く終盤は、海と空を同時に埋め尽くす光の洪水が圧巻です。
Tips
荒天時の開催可否は蒲郡市または大会公式発表を事前に確認してください。終了後はJR蒲郡駅周辺が大変混み合います。フィナーレ後は少し時間をおいてから移動するか、時間差での帰宅が快適です。足元が暗くなるため、スマホのライトや小さなランタンがあると安心。帰りの電車の混雑に備えて、終電の時刻を事前に確認しておきましょう。

From Takeshima Seashore to Takeshima Pier is about 5 minutes on foot. On the day of the fireworks festival, road traffic restrictions may be implemented from evening onward. The area around food stalls becomes crowded, so purchase drinks and light snacks early. Dispose of trash at designated locations or take it with you. Convenience stores near the venue sell out quickly, so it's reassuring to stock up during the day.
Best time to visit
Approximately 1 hour 30 minutes required. The sunset over Mikawa Bay around dusk is the most beautiful time of the entire day.
