三条夏まつり大花火大会は、8月1日(土)19時30分から21時30分まで信濃川の上須頃堤外地で開催される、約4,000発の花火大会です。信濃川の広い川幅を生かした打ち上げは、遮るものがなく空全体に広がるスケールの大きさが魅力。河川敷の堤外地からは正面に大きな夜空が開け、大輪の花火が頭上近くまで広がる迫力を全身で感じられます。川面に映る逆さ花火や、川風とともに響く打ち上げ音も信濃川ならではの体験です。地元の夏まつりとして長く愛されてきた大会の熱気と、新潟の夏の夜の開放感を、家族みんなで楽しみましょう。

Tips

荒天時の開催可否は三条市または大会主催者の公式発表で当日確認してください。終了後は周辺道路と帰宅ルートが一斉に混雑します。花火終了後はその場でしばらく余韻を楽しんでから移動する時間差帰宅がおすすめです。足元が暗いため小さなライトがあると安心です。

Tips

Surrounding roads become congested on fireworks day. Using public transportation or traveling by car early, along with using remote parking lots, is advisable. Mosquitoes become numerous after dusk, so bring insect repellent. River breezes can make it cooler than expected, so prepare a light jacket.
