Spot reservations begin early on the fireworks festival day. To secure a good viewing location, it's best to arrive by early evening (before 6:30 PM) for peace of mind. The temporary restrooms in the vicinity will be crowded, so use them early. The area near the river mouth has patches of gravel and grassland, so bringing a thick sheet or cushion will ensure comfort.

Approximately 45 minutes required. The color gradations in the sky just after sunset and the pleasant night breeze from the sea make this an ideal time.
