JR Kusatsu Station is the central station of Kusatsu City, with supermarkets, convenience stores, and restaurants gathered at the station front. Since the area surrounding the Karamatsuhantou venue becomes crowded with concession stands and food stalls from evening onwards on the day of the fireworks festival, it's reassuring to procure dinner, snacks, and drinks around the station during this time. Take advantage of shops offering takeout so you can enjoy your meal leisurely at the grass plaza of the venue. From Kusatsu Station to Karamatsuhantou, it takes about 15 minutes by car; if using the bus, it's convenient to check the Omi Bus route in advance.

烏丸半島芝生広場を会場に開催されるSymphonic Starmineは、琵琶湖の広大な水面と夜空を舞台にした花火大会です。周囲に遮るものが少ない半島の先端から見上げる花火は視界いっぱいに広がり、静かな湖面に映り込む光の帯が独特の美しさを添えます。近江の山なみにこだまする打ち上げ音と、湖を渡る夜風が、夏の滋賀ならではの花火観覧体験をつくり出しています。名前が示すように、音楽に合わせた演出も見どころのひとつで、花火と音が一体となって打ち上がる瞬間はまさに交響曲の一場面のようです。
Tips
開催時刻や荒天時の中止・順延については、大会公式の最新情報を必ず事前に確認してください。終演後は来場者が一斉に動き出すため、駐車場や臨時バスが混雑します。花火終了後は芝生広場でしばらく余韻を楽しんでから移動すると、混雑のピークを避けやすくなります。帰りの足元は暗いため、小さなライトがあると安心です。
Tips
On the evening of the fireworks festival, convenience store bento boxes and beverages may sell out at early times. It's recommended to procure items in the relatively early time of the 4 PM hour. Don't forget to purchase garbage bags and disposable wet wipes. Also reconfirm your return transportation method and times at this point to ensure a smooth trip home.
