The riverbed area surrounding Sakawa River Sports Plaza, the venue for tonight's fireworks festival. A spacious grass field and open riverbed spread out, beloved by locals as an excellent fireworks viewing spot. Arriving early in the evening and spreading a leisure sheet allows you to spend the time until the opening with ease. In an open landscape where the Hakone mountain range is visible across the Sakawa River, waiting for the opening while watching the sky's colors change as the sun sets is one of the pleasures unique to a fireworks festival. Food stalls also open from evening onward, so you can get your dinner here as well.

2026年8月1日(土)19時10分から20時10分まで、酒匂川スポーツ広場・小田原大橋周辺を会場に開催される小田原酒匂川花火大会です。酒匂川の水面越しに打ち上がる花火は、川面に光を映しながら夜空に大きく広がり、箱根の山々をバックにした雄大なロケーションの中で楽しめます。広い河川敷から見上げる花火は視界を遮るものが少なく、開放感あふれる観覧ができるのがこの会場の魅力のひとつです。フィナーレに向けて次々と打ち上がる花火の音と光は、夏の小田原の夜を鮮やかに彩ります。

Tips

荒天時の開催可否は大会公式サイトや小田原市の発表で当日必ず確認してください。終了後は周辺道路と小田原駅が大変混雑します。フィナーレ後はその場で余韻を楽しみながら少し時間をおいてから移動する時間差帰宅がおすすめ。足元が暗いので小さなライトがあると安心です。

Tips

About 15 minutes by bus from Odawara Station, or convenient by car. On the fireworks festival day, surrounding roads become congested, so public transportation is recommended. The earlier you arrive for spot securing, the better location you can get, but follow venue rules. Confirm restroom locations early.
