A shopping street area distinctive to Odawara, with long-established kamaboko and dried fish shops lining the street from around Odawara Station to the Sakaemachi area. Odawara is nationally known as a production area for kamaboko, and you can casually enjoy freshly made fish cakes such as fried kamaboko and grilled chikuwa. Some established shops offer factory tours and hands-on experiences, making it enjoyable for children as well. Eating your way through this area before the evening rush also serves as a good meal before the fireworks. Carry kamaboko and dried fish souvenirs in a cooler bag for peace of mind.

2026年8月1日(土)19時10分から20時10分まで、酒匂川スポーツ広場・小田原大橋周辺を会場に開催される小田原酒匂川花火大会です。酒匂川の水面越しに打ち上がる花火は、川面に光を映しながら夜空に大きく広がり、箱根の山々をバックにした雄大なロケーションの中で楽しめます。広い河川敷から見上げる花火は視界を遮るものが少なく、開放感あふれる観覧ができるのがこの会場の魅力のひとつです。フィナーレに向けて次々と打ち上がる花火の音と光は、夏の小田原の夜を鮮やかに彩ります。

Tips

荒天時の開催可否は大会公式サイトや小田原市の発表で当日必ず確認してください。終了後は周辺道路と小田原駅が大変混雑します。フィナーレ後はその場で余韻を楽しみながら少し時間をおいてから移動する時間差帰宅がおすすめ。足元が暗いので小さなライトがあると安心です。

Tips

Within a 5-minute walk from Odawara Station. On the day of the fireworks festival, the station area becomes crowded from evening onward, so it's recommended to complete souvenir shopping at this time. With ice packs and a cooler bag, you can safely bring perishable items home. Business hours vary by shop.
