On the day of the fireworks festival, numerous traditional food stalls such as yakisoba (grilled noodles), takoyaki (octopus balls), and frankfurters set up from around Odawara Bridge to Sakawa River Sports Plaza. After securing your viewing spot, make a round of the stalls to procure dinner, and the time spent eating while feeling the night breeze along the river is a summer luxury unique to a fireworks festival. Since stalls become very crowded more than an hour before the opening, it's best to obtain food early. Enjoy the time of building anticipation for the night while gazing at the twilight reflection on the water's surface.

2026年8月1日(土)19時10分から20時10分まで、酒匂川スポーツ広場・小田原大橋周辺を会場に開催される小田原酒匂川花火大会です。酒匂川の水面越しに打ち上がる花火は、川面に光を映しながら夜空に大きく広がり、箱根の山々をバックにした雄大なロケーションの中で楽しめます。広い河川敷から見上げる花火は視界を遮るものが少なく、開放感あふれる観覧ができるのがこの会場の魅力のひとつです。フィナーレに向けて次々と打ち上がる花火の音と光は、夏の小田原の夜を鮮やかに彩ります。

Tips

荒天時の開催可否は大会公式サイトや小田原市の発表で当日必ず確認してください。終了後は周辺道路と小田原駅が大変混雑します。フィナーレ後はその場で余韻を楽しみながら少し時間をおいてから移動する時間差帰宅がおすすめ。足元が暗いので小さなライトがあると安心です。

Tips

Food stalls experience increased congestion from the evening before opening. Procure food and beverages early. Convenience stores and shops around the venue also become crowded, so it's reassuring to prepare beverages in advance. Be sure to dispose of trash at designated locations or take it with you. In preparation for moving in the dark, use this time to visit the restroom as well.
