Mikuni Port, opening at the mouth of the Kuzu River, is a historic port town that has flourished as one of the major fishing ports of the Hokuriku region. Being within walking distance to the Mikuni Sunset Beach venue, you can walk to the venue after eating. 2026年8月11日(火・祝)19時30分から20時30分まで、三国サンセットビーチと九頭竜川ボートパーク一帯で開催される三国花火大会の観覧スポットです。約15,000発の打ち上げ花火が九頭竜川河口の開けた空と日本海の水平線を舞台に次々と開き、北陸を代表する夏の花火大会として多くの人に親しまれています。砂浜から見上げる大玉やスターマインは遮るものがなく、花火の音と光が正面から迫ってくる迫力は格別です。日本海の潮風と波の音が重なる中で楽しむ1時間は、この1日のクライマックスにふさわしい時間です。

Tips

花火大会当日は会場周辺の道路が大変混雑します。公共交通機関の利用か、早めの駐車場確保を強くおすすめします。終了後はえちぜん鉄道三国駅への道が混み合うため、フィナーレ後は砂浜で少し余韻を楽しんでから時間差での帰宅が得策です。荒天時の開催可否は大会公式発表で当日確認してください。

Tips

On the fireworks festival day, restaurants around the port are crowded. Aim for an early dinner around 5 PM to minimize wait times. From the port to the Mikuni Sunset Beach venue is approximately 10-15 minutes on foot. Walking to the venue after dinner while securing a spot works smoothly.
