A roadside station along Route 305 near Mikuni Port with a full selection of fresh local produce from Echizen seafood to local vegetables. You can browse processed Echizen crab products, salted squid, dried fish, and other famous seafood items from the Japan Sea all in one place, making it ideal for souvenir shopping. The food corner offers light Echizen soba noodles, soft serve ice cream, and other local cuisine. Using the restroom at this time before the fireworks festival is also a practical advantage, as it's best to visit before congestion builds up around the venue.

2026年8月11日(火・祝)19時30分から20時30分まで、三国サンセットビーチと九頭竜川ボートパーク一帯で開催される三国花火大会の観覧スポットです。約15,000発の打ち上げ花火が九頭竜川河口の開けた空と日本海の水平線を舞台に次々と開き、北陸を代表する夏の花火大会として多くの人に親しまれています。砂浜から見上げる大玉やスターマインは遮るものがなく、花火の音と光が正面から迫ってくる迫力は格別です。日本海の潮風と波の音が重なる中で楽しむ1時間は、この1日のクライマックスにふさわしい時間です。

Tips

花火大会当日は会場周辺の道路が大変混雑します。公共交通機関の利用か、早めの駐車場確保を強くおすすめします。終了後はえちぜん鉄道三国駅への道が混み合うため、フィナーレ後は砂浜で少し余韻を楽しんでから時間差での帰宅が得策です。荒天時の開催可否は大会公式発表で当日確認してください。

Tips

About 5 minutes by car from Mikuni Station. It's convenient to purchase souvenirs at this time to avoid the evening congestion. The parking lot is spacious and easy to use. When moving to the fireworks venue, leave heavy purchases in your vehicle to avoid burden.
