The Shimohama Futou at Noshiro Port (能代港) is the special viewing venue for the Noshiro Port Festival Fireworks. Positioned right beside the launch site, you can look up at the fireworks with impressive presence. During the time before the performance begins, the setting sun over the Sea of Japan tints the wharf red, creating a beautiful sunset scene unique to a port. Once you've secured your viewing spot, slowly appreciate this sunset while waiting for the performance to begin. Food stalls are set up in the surrounding area, allowing you to procure light snacks and refreshments. The salty sea air and evening breeze of the port create a special atmosphere before the fireworks festival.

港まつり 能代の花火は、能代港下浜ふ頭特設会場から打ち上がる約15,000発の大花火大会です。日本海に面した港の上空に開く大輪は遮るものがなく、水平線の向こうまで広がる夜空を存分に使ったスケールの大きさが圧巻。スターマインや尺玉など多彩なプログラムが1時間30分にわたって繰り広げられ、港に響く爆音と潮風が五感を刺激します。海面に映る花火の反射も美しく、海辺の花火大会ならではの景観を楽しめます。能代の夏を締めくくるにふさわしい、東北屈指の花火大会のフィナーレを埠頭から見上げましょう。
Tips
荒天や強風の場合は中止または延期となることがあります。当日の開催可否は能代市や港まつり実行委員会の公式発表を必ず確認してください。終了後は会場周辺の道路が混雑します。終演後すぐに移動せず、しばらく会場で余韻を楽しんでから時間をずらして帰路につくと混雑を避けやすいです。足元が暗くなるので懐中電灯やスマートフォンのライトを活用してください。
