Since the 1,100-meter highland cools rapidly after sunset, prepare a light jacket from this time onward. The silhouette of Mount Haruna Fuji reflected on the lake at dusk is a landscape as spectacular as the fireworks themselves, uniquely treasured in this region.

Tips

Viewing spots on the lakeshore fill up early. To secure a good location, arrive by 5 PM. Use restrooms early. After sunset, the perceived temperature drops significantly, so a light jacket or long sleeves are essential.
