Located south of Hitachi Seaside Park, Aji-ga-ura is a signature coastline of Hitachinaka. In early October, after summer's swimming season ends, the beach becomes quiet with fewer visitors, transforming into a peaceful autumn coast where you can walk the wide sand at leisure. The vast, unobstructed view to the Pacific horizon brims with openness, and simply walking the beach while listening to the sound of waves is a refreshing experience. The coastal scenery with the seaside park's ferris wheel and pine forest greenery as a backdrop has the quiet beauty unique to autumn. This is also a good place to confirm the direction of tonight's fireworks display while still in daylight.

2026年10月3日(土)開催の rockin'star Carnival は、国営ひたち海浜公園を会場に約20,000発が打ち上げられる大規模な花火大会です。太平洋を背にした広大な敷地から見上げる花火は遮るものがなく、夜空いっぱいに広がるスターマインや尺玉の迫力は格別です。秋の澄んだ空気の中で見る花火は色がくっきりと鮮やかで、夏の花火とはまた異なる美しさがあります。約20,000発という発数は国内屈指の規模で、次々と打ち上がるフィナーレの連発は夜空と海を丸ごと照らし、観覧エリア全体が歓声に包まれます。海浜公園の広大なロケーションだからこそ実現する、スケールの大きな秋の花火体験です。
Tips
開催時間は未定のため、大会公式情報を必ず事前に確認してください。荒天時の開催可否も公式発表に従ってください。終了後は会場周辺の道路が大変混雑します。車で来場の場合は終了後すぐに移動するより、しばらく現地で余韻を楽しんでから動くほうが渋滞を避けやすいです。ひたちなか海浜鉄道の帰り列車は早めに時刻を確認しておきましょう。

About 5 minutes by car or 20-25 minutes on foot from the west or south entrance of Hitachi Seaside Park. Parking rates may differ outside summer; verify on-site. Follow signage for prohibited swimming areas and no-entry zones. Even in October, strong winds can lower perceived temperature, so bring an extra layer for comfort.
Best time to visit
Approximately 1 hour 30 minutes required. Autumn's afternoon slanting light sparkles on the ocean surface, allowing for a leisurely walk along a quieter beach than summer.
