Early Dinner Near the Venue for Pre-Fireworks Sustenance

Dining establishments gather around Omura Station, offering restaurants with menus featuring Nagasaki beef dishes, Nagasaki chanpon (noodle soup), and sara-udon (stir-fried noodles) and other Nagasaki specialties. Since the venue area becomes very crowded once night falls on the fireworks festival day, it's recommended to have dinner early, around 5 PM. After enjoying a relaxed meal and recovering your energy, prepare to move to the area around Boat Race Omura (ボートレース大村). This is your last chance to pick up additional drinks or light snacks around the station. After dinner, use the restroom and head to the viewing spot in a light state.

おおむら夏越花火大会は、大村湾の水上に浮かぶボートレース大村沖の台船から打ち上げられる、長崎県を代表する夏の花火大会です。約5,000発の花火が大村湾の夜空に次々と開き、穏やかな湾の水面には大輪の光が映り込んで、空と海の両方で花火を楽しめる絶景が広がります。21時30分ごろの打ち上げ開始を告げる轟音が湾に響いたら、いよいよクライマックスです。大村湾を囲む山々に音が反響する迫力は、海辺ならではの大スケール。フィナーレの連続打ちで夜空が一面の光に包まれる瞬間は、この1日の最高の締めくくりです。

Tips

荒天時の開催可否は大村市や大会公式の発表を事前に確認してください。終了後は周辺道路と大村駅が大変混雑するため、花火終了後はしばらく水辺で余韻を楽しんでから時間差で移動するのがおすすめです。帰り道は足元が暗い場所もあるため、小さなライトがあると安心です。

Omura Station is a major station on the JR Omura Line, and Boat Race Omura venue is about 15-20 minutes on foot from the station. On the festival day, dining establishments will also be crowded, so if possible, make a reservation beforehand. Acquire drinks and light snacks from convenience stores in this area as well.
