The Sai River 2nd Green Space spreading west of Nagano Bridge is the main viewing venue for the Nagano Ebisu Lecture Fireworks Festival. Spread your leisure sheet on the grassy riverbank to secure your spot and wait for the 6 PM opening. The Sai River in the evening begins to drift with cold air, and the mountain ridgelines floating in the sky create a landscape characteristic of November. Food stalls are set up nearby where you can get warm food and drinks, but it's best to secure them early before they get crowded. As darkness falls, temperatures drop rapidly, so do a final cold-weather gear check here.

長野えびす講煙火大会は、商売繁盛を祈る「えびす講」の大祭に合わせて長野市で開催される、江戸時代以来の歴史を持つ花火大会です。2026年11月23日(月・祝)18時から19時30分まで、長野大橋西側の犀川第2緑地を会場に、約10,000発が打ち上げられます。晩秋の澄んだ夜空に開く大輪の花火は、夏の花火大会とは一線を画す凛とした美しさがあり、冷気の中で見上げる光と音の迫力は格別です。川面に映る花火の光が揺らめく様子も、犀川ならではの見どころです。全国でも珍しい「冬の花火大会」として多くの花火ファンに知られ、長野市最大級の祭りのフィナーレにふさわしい華やかさです。
Tips
荒天時の開催可否は大会公式の発表を確認してください。終了後は周辺道路と長野駅方面への帰路が大変混み合います。花火終了後しばらく会場周辺で余韻を楽しんでから時間差で移動するか、事前に帰りの交通手段を確認しておきましょう。11月の長野市の夜は非常に冷えるため、防寒装備は万全に。

About 15-20 minutes on foot from Gondo Arcade. It's also within walking distance from Nagano Station, but on the day of the fireworks, surrounding roads become congested, so walking is the most reliable option. Check the official festival website in advance for details on the viewing area and entry procedures.

Approximately 15 minutes required (for securing a spot). It's reassuring to arrive at the venue 30 or more minutes before the opening.
