Garyu Park (臥竜公園), adjacent to Suzaka City Zoo, is a verdant urban park centered around a pond. Also known as a cherry blossom viewing spot, in summer it offers plenty of shade and remains relatively cool even in the strong afternoon sunlight. The spacious grass areas allow children to run freely, perfect for leisure time after enjoying the zoo. With benches and shelters scattered throughout, it's an ideal place to relax and conserve energy while heading toward the evening fireworks. The park's location makes it easily accessible by car or bicycle to Momomo River Riverside Park, the fireworks venue.

須坂市納涼煙火大会は、百々川緑地公園から打ち上げられる約2,000発の花火が夏の夜空を彩るイベントです。2026年は7月19日(日)の19時45分から20時30分まで開催。川沿いの緑地という開けた会場で、遮るものなく大輪の花火を間近に楽しめます。信州の山あいの夜空は澄んでいて、花火の色彩が鮮やかに映えるのも須坂ならでは。打ち上げ音が山に反響して体に響く迫力も、この会場の醍醐味です。地域の人々が大切に守り続けてきた夏の風物詩を、家族そろって楽しみましょう。
Tips
荒天の場合は中止または延期となるため、当日の開催可否は須坂市の公式発表を必ず確認してください。終了後は長野電鉄須坂駅方面への道が混雑します。フィナーレ後は公園内で少し余韻を楽しんでから分散して移動するとスムーズです。帰りは足元が暗いのでライトを活用しましょう。

Located in the same grounds as Suzaka City Zoo, so you can access it directly from the zoo. Admission and entry are free. In the summer afternoon, choose a shaded bench. Momomo River Riverside Park is approximately 5 minutes by car or 15-20 minutes on foot. Begin your move around 4:30 PM to prepare for the evening venue reservation.

Approximately 1 hour 30 minutes required. Relax in the shade of greenery and build up your energy for the fireworks.
